Each origin has its own standards but in most cases, the weight average of a bag is between 50-70kg.

Each origin bags its cocoa in different sized bags usually made from sisal or jute. Due to scarcity of these materials in some countries, polupropulene bags are used instead.

Ventilation is key to maintaining your beans healthy and in good condition and prevent mould formation. Make sure that the room you store your beans in has enough ventilation to allow the air in the room to circulate. Ideal temperature: below 15 degrees Celsius. Ideal relative humidity: 75-85%.
To prevent any possible contamination of your production room, store the beans separately to avoid the possibility of a stray moth laying eggs in your chocolate.

2. Visit our webshop and fill your cart.
3. Place the order and make sure to have all the information correct.
4. After we’ve approved your order, you will receive an email from us with the invoice.
5. Once the payment is received, we will deliver your order within 1-2 week(s).

At the moment we only accept payment by bank transfer. All the details you need will be shared in your pro-forma invoice.

Once you have placed and paid your order, we will strive to have the goods ready to be picked up at the warehouse in Amsterdam or delivered at your address within one to two weeks. You will be informed in due time about the expected date of delivery.

Yes, small samples of all of our beans in stock are available. You just need to log-in, visit our shop, choose the beans and select “sample” in packaging. You can order up to 4 samples of 500g per origin (i.e. 2kg)
